Christmas party 2019

what a awesome time I had at the Christmas party on Friday! All my friends were there, heaps of awesome music to dance to, and we were even surprised with a circus show! The food was delicious. What a awesome way to end the year.

hamilton trip

Last thursday I went with peter and some friends to Hamilton to see the big Christmas tree and have lunch at the casino. I had a toasted sandwich and chips for lunch. What a awesome day!!

We had a trip to the historic village today with guys group. We really liked the men’s shed.

This morning i went on a outing to the lakes water park with my friends. I felt the water on my ha d but didn’t like it too much.i really enjoyed being out in the sun with my friends though 🌞

Today I went to the 3D trick art gallery in Rotorua. It was so cool to see all the art and get our photos taken with it. heres some photos of me from today. it was such a cool day.

NZ culture

In N Z culture I listened to a story about Maui and the giant fish. I also enjoyed looking at a magazine  called Wilderness about NZ outdoors. I found a picture that reminded me of my mum.

Busy bees

On A very wet and cold Friday I went to the Comvita Factory and went on the tour with Nikki. It was cool. I really liked walking in the forest section even though it was dark. We ate our lunch at the cafe down the road and got some hot chips. I was very hungry. I had a great day.

Pukehinahina

Today in my NZ culture session I went to the Gate Pa School to learn about the Battle of Pukehinahina. I also enjoyed walking around the school and over the obstacle course . It was a really nice afternoon.

It’s my birthday

Happy birthday to me! Today I turn 28! I shared a yum cake with my friends here at Arohanui! The historic village radio station gave me a shout out on air and played my favourite song achy breaky heart, I ended my day at Arohanui dancing!

Barney

what a wet day outside today! Instead of going out in the rain we stayed back and I got to relax in the beanbag and watch barney ( my choice of course)

Fun at the park

yesterday I went to the big park in the lakes. I enjoyed being out in the fresh air and watching all my friends climb all over the play ground!

Guide dogs

Today we had a visit from the guide dog foundation, they brought in 5 days and one was just a cute little puppy, it was nice to be able to pat them and feed them.

Farm trip

I had a great day last week visiting one of our friends farms in Matamata. We saw lots of calfs which we enjoyed patting.

Today my friends and I went to Ten Pin Bowling for the afternoon, I really like spending time with my friends and having a game!

this day I decided to come out of my shell and give the talent quest a go, It went well with the help of Lania, definitely enjoyed wearing the cow boy hat, and enjoyed all my friends company..

Its always a good day when I get to venture at Arohanui, I Laugh when Im enjoying myself with My friends at Arohanui...with the help of staff, I get to do things I wouldn't normally do. Laughter is always good!!

Out with my friends in Arohanui

I went to the historic Village yesterday with my friends it was a very lovely sunny day, we looked at art plotted around the village and soaked in some sunshine which was absolutely lovely.

Today we went for a nice walk by the Historic Village and had a look at the Mens Toy Shed

Pink Ribbon Mornign tea

Today we had pink ribbon morning tea Arohanui. We made pink scones and cup cakes for it, and drank pink fruit tea. 
Nicky came in for a visit too! It was great to see her!
