Christmas Drama Production

I was able to participate in the last drama production of the year which was about Jack and the Beanstalk who had no money returning to the castle in the sky to get the treasure. I remembered alot of the lines during the drama.

I have been unable to return to the Centre for the end of year activities due to illness. I hope I will be better by next year so I can be with my friends at Arohanui.

 Yesterday I got to go down to Rotary park and paddle my feet in the water, I was so relaxed and the water was nice and warm!

 I love getting out for sports outings with friends,

With a bit of help I managed to hit the ball and walk to runs.

Computer

Today I enjoyed my computer time watching bob the builder series and completing Elmo number activities.I had so much fun

T-Ball

I went out with guys group to play T-Ball today, with a little help from a friend I managed to hit the ball with the bat and run/walk around the bases and made it to home base.

Sensory

I had fun dressing up as Micky mouse in sensory. I kept my mickey mouse ears and the purple wig on and joined in Girls Group later too!

Te puke visit

My friends from Arohanui travelled in the new van to have morning tea with our friends at the Te Puke Centre. I had a great time watching the guys riding the tandem bike and shooting hoops in the park.

I love to stand with my friends in music sessions and listen to Barney. One of my friends at the centre found a Barney toy at the Op Shop for me.

Farm trip

I went to Rogers farm in Matamata and saw calves, pigs a lamb and horses.

Bush walk

I had a really cool outing to the Historic village and discovered a bush walk at the back with tui bird houses and lovely seated rest areas. It was nice and calming.

Ten Pin Bowling

I went to play Ten Pin Bowling. I chose a pink ball and saw my friends from Wilrose there having a bowl as well. fun times!

Sensory

Rocktopia

I went with the Guys Group to visit Rocktopia in Mount Maunganui. I went inside the dark cave to see the guys climbing on the wall.

McClarens Falls

I had a great time at McClarens falls with all my friends.

Pottery

This morning it was too wet and cold to venture out so we stayed in the warm pottery.I had a relaxing time painting my pots ! I used the sponge on a stick to put the colours on and chatted to my friend Alissa while I worked.

Pink Ribbon Day

Today was Pink Ribbon day. All of the Lady's gave the kItchen room a lovely pink make over with balloons and Pom poms. We had a yummy morning tea with an assortment of yummy foods to which I ate like a King. A very awesome day today was.
