Picking fruit.

We went for a lovely walk through the community garden this week. We were picking fruit and veges to take to the entire and watering the garden. During our hunt we found a raspberry bush full of delicious raspberries! I absolutely loved them!

I went on a cool outing with my friends to mount Maunganui to see if we could catch sit of the huge cruise ship that was visiting the town. Man it was HUGE. All of the people and buildings looked really small compared to it. 

Out and about.

I have had a nice busy couple of days, this week I went Bedford hunting in Tauranga but we were unable to find any trucks but we till had a nice time. We also went for another outing which was a nice walk along the board walk in Judea.

We went to the buried village yesterday.  We went on a long walk and got to see lots of old things from  the eruption and learnt about what happened to the people living in the village when Mt Tarawera erupted

McLarens Falls

I recently went on an exciting trip to McLarens Falls with my friends. we fed bread to the ducks that were living in the pond. We saw the beautiful water falls and studied the rock formations that had been carved out by the water over many years. It was a lovely day and I really enjoyed getting out and about!

Outdoor adventures!

I have been having many exciting adventures the last couple of weeks including an outing with the rest of the lads at the Kopurererua reserve. We are doing a wetlands study and have had fish in he centre that we collected last week. We have been feeding and observing them and just released them back into their creek. We have also been collecting flax to make into traditional Maori fishing lines to catch Eels with next week!
